This is my first game jam. I never learned how to use any game engine, so I just wrote in javascript with p5.js xd
That might not have been the best idea for a rhythm game that requires accurate and quality sound
So please try to close other tabs and stuff or else the audio will lag
I made the songs. I kind of underestimated how hard it is and long it takes to make good music, so after spending hours on just the couple-second menu loop I decided I would just make it all piano instead
I don't know if there's a specific way I'm supposed to do this, but I got some sfx from here

Maybe next time I'll try to find & work with people who can actually make stuff

The light hearted humor pairs nicely with the simple graphics. everything is polished in a way that comes together nicely. the gameplay is challenging and addictive. very nice use of the theme. Overall great job in your first jam!
This is awesome, I had a ton of fun playing through it! Definitely a challenging game, but in a good way. You structured the tutorial very well also.
the game breaks a lot if you try to play the same level twice so don't do that
